After 12 wonderful years of operation, Olivadi restaurant will be closing its doors on Wednesday, June 24, 2020. We would like to thank you for supporting us and making Olivadi one of the area’s most popular dining establishments. Serving you and being an enthusiastic part of our local community has truly been an honor.
It was a difficult decision but like many restaurants, Olivadi has faced unprecedented financial hardship due to the impact of Covid-19. In addition, we are mourning the recent, unexpected passing of our owner and founder, Anthony F. Delapa.
Named after the small town in the Calabria, Italy where Mr. Delapa was born, Olivadi opened in 2008 during a housing crisis when many warned that opening a large, fine dining restaurant was not advisable. Despite this, Mr. Delapa forged ahead with his great vision and the success that resulted exceeded everyone’s expectations.
Whether you were a regular or we had the pleasure of your company for just an evening, we cannot begin to express our gratitude for your patronage and friendship through the years. From weddings to baby showers and everything in between, so many of you chose to celebrate important life events with us and we truly were honored to be part of these.
We will miss being a part of our vibrant, local restaurant community but even though our doors are presently closed, one never knows what the future holds. Until then, may you and your families be well and eat well - Buon Appetito!
